Hoho yes apparently i did blog before in the not so distant past. But i stopped because :

1) I usually keep a diary, but after keeping a diary for 4-5 years, i find that im beginning to procrastinate more and more in writing. Way back then, i would write my diary everyday. Then it became once every two days. I usually would remember the stuff that happened the day before, so i could still write it down. Then, it because once every week, and then once every 2 weeks, and at its best, once every a few months. Yes, i still can roughly remember the things that occured in those days, because if you had a mundane life like mine in Uniten, it isn't that hard.

But after that, my life gotten more interesting! Yeap you heard that right! I was like, damn im happening! No serious. Okay maybe not that happening la but ya =.=. So anyway it became harder to remember. So instead of just writing more often, I did it what any Alwin would do. Stop writing :P. So yeah i stopped writing my diary, and eventually, my blog.

2) In the past, i relied on pictures taken by others, and my trusty K750i, for my blogging materials. Unfortunately, that severely limits my materials, because I'm too lazy to get pictures from people, and my K750i now is in shambles!

So lately, some stuff happened that made me want to blog again. These are :

1) I read this blog here http://tgwkt.blogspot.com/. Its my bra Robo(t/bo/cop)'s. And if my (robo)man Bobo here is blogging, daim I need to get back blogging!

2) I got myself a brand spankin new cameira! A Fujifilm F40fd yo! Now i can snap all daim photos I need! Coupled with the fact that I just got myself a new Nike blue cammo pouch at RM27 price after discount, I can now bring that cameira of mine everywhere I go! Hohohoho!

3) Me real bra has gone to USA, so perhaps I could give him some updates on big momma here on this blog. Perhaps! =D

Sooooooooo, I might get back to blogging, but i definately neeeed a new place. Should I migrate to Wordpress? Or stick with blogspot? I'll definately not use this blog anymore tho. Its too ol skool yo!

Lol its been SOOOOOOOO long since i last posted here. Almost a month. Guess i've gotten a little lazy to blog. Stupid laggy connection in campus is a culprit too >.<

So what had happened lately? Nothing much i guess. Uh, besides me spendig RM 490 on a new graphic card during late January. I had a pretty enjoyable Chinese New Year at Sitiawan, my mom's hometown. Went fishing with Mark, and almost lost my rods. When back at uni, been a very hectic few weeks, with LA exam 2 weeks ago, and DE exam this coming Friday.

Oh this year i had a non-lonely Valentines! Went to Sri Hartamas with my pals Kelly and Janice and treated them to Cheese Fondue XD~~. Delicious stuff i tell ya. Go try it if you have the time ^^.

Oh i remembered. We had another 5 Jatian reunion at some shop in SS2. Lots attended. Went to Asia Cafe after that for pool before balik.

Erm... what else. Oh i spent RM 1400 on a 2nd hand Sony PSP =.=''. But it comes with 7 ori games costing RM 100 each, 1 1GB memory stick costing Rm250, so the PSP itself is just RM 450! Great buy huh :P.

Sigh im broke now... :P

Almost 2 weeks since i've last blogged. Im getting so darn lazy in blogging.

So whats my current status in life?

Im bored with uni life. That pretty sum it all up :P. More specifically, im bored with my current daily life cycle. Its gets so darn repetitive. For example :

- Sleep
- Eat
- Go Class
- Skip Class
- Play basketball
- Play DOTA
- Study

*From top to bottom : Frequent to Seldom

That is the cycle of my current life. Take a few of that, and u'll have a normal day of my uni life. Bloody boring.

I dont know what to do for my next special semester. It'll span 2 months, and i can either opt to take a subject or two, meaning putting myself back into the same cycle as im living now, or i can opt to go work instead, hoping that i'd appreciate uni life again during my work period, and returning to uni again refreshed.

Bah i dunno.

Help me here wont you people? ^^

Exam blues

Last Sunday i had an exam, Linear Algebra. This Sunday im having an exam, Differential Equations.

Notice anything not good(s)?

1) Two week in a row, exams are held on Sundays
2) Two week in a row, exams all Maths related

Can life get any sadder?

Oh yah

3) Cough, flu, cough, phelgm, cough

There you have it, a summary of this 2 weeks. Lol.

Ok now the good part. Bad actually.

I've just ordered a new graphic card. This is one of my totally 'unplanned' spendings. Yes i do plan to spend RM90 on a Flash addon to my handphone, i did plan to spend RM400 on a 1GB memory stick pro duo for my handphone, but i didnt plan to spend RM490 on a new graphic card >.<. I blame this on the splurge of new game titles which i cant play. Its pretty much a impulse purchase kinda thing. Bah. Im soooo broke.

I have this sickness. Upgraditis and spenditidis. Bad bad sickness. My friend already told me ages ago i was caught deep in it, like him. I refused to acknowledge it. After this purchase, i no longer deny it. Sigh I so need a cure for this >.<''

Cant wait to go home. I missed home, dunno why. Maybe its the love in the house =D, my family. Maybe its also my friends. Maybe its my dogs. Maybe its the Astro. Maybe its the food. Maybe its the car. Maybe its the newspaper everyday. Maybe its the comfortable beds with aircon.

Yup, its everything =D. Cant wait. One more lousy week, and i'll be back.

Happy new year people! Sorry its been a little late. Been super busy with lots of youth activities during the new year :). Watched Wallace and Gromit which turned out to be unexpectedly great =D.

On a sad note, im down with a killer flu now. Got it since the sunway lagoon trip. This morning i just coughed bloody phelgm >.<. Not a good sign but then again, i felt a little better since then. Hope it'll go away soon. I have an exam this sunday.

Xmas is gone, new year is coming!

Yup, in a blink of an eye, Christmas was gone. Spent quite alot on getting presents for people, but i hope with that it has brought some joy =D. I received quite a few too, so blessed. Unfortunately, i was struck by flu ever since the Sunway Lagoon outing. My blocked nose hampered my food enjoyment >.<. I attended 2 bbqs and ate tons of food but tasted none of them T_T.

Anyway, im back in uni and life is returning back to normal. Normal as in normal normal, not last few weeks normal =p. No more play practice to attend almost daily, etc. I can play basketball as long as i want without needing to rush for dinner and practice anymore. Its pretty relaxing. Until i realise that i've yet to study properly >.<. Giving that i rarely pay attention in class, this is a bad thing =p. Speaking of class, i was told of for talking today. Worst of all, i was sitting in the front row. Lol. Chartou!

Oh, yesterday we celebrated Janice's bday =D. Went to the Manhattan Fish Market at Alamanda's. Lol i did not know fish could taste so nice. Altho, at a price =P. But celebrating her bday was fun. Gave her a present which was an Edifier portable speaker. The same one i loaned to her the past few weeks. It wasnt suprising she managed to guessed what it was cause i was somewhat undeliberately 'ter'hinted to her for the past few days :P. Anyway, hope she likes it.

This month is finally coming to an end. Such a great and fantastic month. There was the Youth Camp, the Techflow Christmas play, Sunway Lagoon, best xmas i've everhad, Janice's bday. But of course, such events come at a price. Quite a hefty one as i've spend almost RM400 this month, not including my phone bill which is another RM100. Lol. Hoping to gain it back during CNY XD. Christmas Play, Sunway Lagoon n Merry Christmas!

The christmas play was last Monday and it has finally ended. Months of preparation for just one night of play. And honestly, i had a blast. I dont know how it went but most of the feedback was positive =D. The moment the curtain drawed i was staring into 300+ audience. Luckily i cant see their faces as it was dark =p. But everyone laughed at my 'butcher' character lol. Had a blast although it was pretty tiring because of the practice held whole day. But a load has finally been lifted from my shoulder =).

Yesterday, i skipped one tutorial to join my church gang to Sunway Lagoon :P. I spent RM 40 on car rental, RM 10 on petrol, RM 30 on entrace ticket, RM 20 for food = im broke. But it was worth it! Had plenty of fun. Unfortunately as a result of that, i got a sorethroat today >.<.

Speaking of today, we went carolling at some areas nearby with my Hope church caregroup. Haha was pretty nervous as we did some door to door carolling but in the end, it was loads fun and wonderful experience =). I'll be going back for christmas this weekend. Got 2 bbqs to attend =.=''. With my sorethroat im having now, i doubt it'll survive the onslaught of 2 bbqs but what the heck :P, its christmas!

Uniten Christian Fellowship Christmas Night Play 2005 - I'll Be Home For Christmas

Lately i've been uber busy, mainly because of the Christmas play practice we've been having every monday-wednesday until close midnight. As you all might've remembered, i'm involved in a musical by my uni's CF, Techflow (funny name huh =P). This musical is a retelling of the prodigy child for those who know about the story from the Bible.

In the play, i'll be opening the first song by singing the first line. This is gonna be killer =.=''. Im pretty nervous about it. But besides that, my acting screen time is very short, less than 30 seconds, as an ambulance attendee. Haha yup just a small part. But i'll be singing harmony for another 3 songs later too :).

The day is coming near, which is this coming Monday. Hopefully God will use us well and that everything will run smoothly =D.

Oh yah, last weekend i went to FCT Youth Camp at Broga! Will blog a little about it next time with some pics hopefully =D. I'll do it after the play when i got more time. Take care meantime! ^_^

PC Fair 3 2005

I worked last weekend at the PC Fair 3 2005 at KLCC. Busted by feets standing for 10 hours straight and shouting at the top of the lungs trying to outdo the blasting speakers behind me. My sales was pretty alright i guess, but still nothing compared to the last PC Fair which i did much better. Also, i met a gang of ex-SMKDJians working at Brothers. Among them were Khing Yiing, Kim Keong, Kok Shiong, Jason, Shanon, Ting Sen, Cheang Kee, Wei Leong, and some others =p.

Finally got my internet connection up and running ^_^. Things been pretty hectic here since the first day. Lots of running around and going to classes, u know, the usual uni life which im so not used too. Last sem its mainly sleep alot and ponteng alot. Still trying to get use to being a good boy XD.

Christmas play night is creeping up and my Silent night harmony is still doing bad >.<''. Need to brush up.

I'll be working at PC Fair again from tomorrow onwards and throughout the weekend :). Do say hiye if you were to drop by the Edifier speaker booth at PC Fair :)

Christmas play practice

For the past 5 days, i've been in uni attending my uni's christian fellowship christmas play practice. Been a very very tiring yet super exciting week =D. Acting wise i'm just doing a small part, an ambulance attendee which only has a on screen play for 30 seconds =p. But i'll be singing along for 4 songs, namely the harmony parts for Silent Night, Joy to the World, and The Gift of a Lifetime and the melody for Christmas Shines. Learning to sing these songs are fantastic! I've never received vocal training before and i'm pleased to say i've accomplished pretty much for these few days =D. Hope it'll be enough for the rest of the people tho cause everyone is great and lol, im just a noob XD.

Lots lots lots of pics =.=. I've taken about 200-300 pics in these 5 days with my phone =P. Lots of memories to keep ^_^.

Uni about to start soon. Now im back in PJ for 2 days. Sunday i'll be going back there. Hope my internet application will go thru ASAP. Take care meanwhile yah ^_^.

Busy = lack of updates

Sorry people for the lack of updates =(. I've been super super busy lately because my holidays are ending and i've yet to do so much. Today i went back to uni for the Christmas play practice. Was uber hard as it involves singing and its something im not exposed to until now. Nevertheless, its very fun and interesting. At least after today i feel i have some hope compared to ages ago when i cant even muster a proper tone and key =p. Still i have much to learn, much to do, and it'll be much hard work >.<. Oh yah, i'm doing harmony for Silent Night, Joy to the World and The Gift of a Lifetime. Practice will span this whole week until saturday, so that means i'll be either moving back and forth from uni and home, or i might be sleeping at hostel. Depends...

Oh on another note, i've checked in my room today, and im happy to say, that its darn clean, its very equipped, and WE HAVE NEW SOFA SETS! XD. Gan! Tai Soon! Eugene! Yi Jun! Rejoice XD~~~.

Also, look forward for pictures again when i'm back in uni. I dont have the time to upload and post lately because busy but i promise i'll be back with more pics after i've settled down for the new sem :).

My 3D Modelling project

Kinda been wanting to post this for quite some time but always slipped my mind. Last semester, one of my subject involves 3D modelling of a real life item. My group which consists of 4 people choosen a Tamiya car as our model. Total there were about 25 individual parts which 4 of us modelled seperately. After the individual parts were done, we had to combine them together to produce the final product, the car.


This part, the base of the car, was modelled by me. It took me hours to measure the thing from the real model, and a week or so to create it with the modelling software, Pro/Engineer. Modelling this part was real hard cause one wrong measurement, the other parts wont fit in nicely.


The final product, after everything is assembled. Looks nice huh =D. A teammate did the cover, which was very hard to do. Lots of curves involved.

Overall our lecturer was pretty impressed with the car as it has alot of details. Hope we can win the competition. It'll give us about 20 extra marks into the project =D.

Trip to Jelapang, somewhere above Ipoh

Today i followed my dad to Jelapang to help out with his work. It was a boring 2 hour journey there, and things did not get better when we reached. We just got down to business of fixing a pc and some hardware, before we went off for makan and back. Some shots taken with my K750i cameraphone throughout the journey :

It all started with the desire for the Sony Ericsson K700i. Then i saw the K750i. It had a 2.0 megapixel cam. I feel in love.

Almost 5 months later, i finally am a proud owner. The loyal but ageing Nokia 3310, which had served me for the past 3 years after i bought it from Jillian, can finally be laid to rest, albiet, not eternally =P.

It burned a RM1700 hole in my wallet. Pain >.<''. I kinda regretted not buying it last week when it was RM1550 only. Apparently there was a worldwide shortage of stock and price went up. Meh, i cant be patient anymore, so i bought it today, at Low Yat Plaza.

Oh yah, Yi Jun was there too =D. Jay came a while later as he had no class. 3 of us lingered around the Sg Wang vicinity till evening.

Holiday @ genting

To pretty much sum it up, it was great. Considering the fact that that was the first time i went and stay there in the past 8 years, that i went up with a great bunch of friends (Jun, Gan, Adelynn, Wen Zhen, Eugene, Tai Soon, Mark), that it was extra cold because of the daily drizzle, yup, i did thoroughly enjoyed it. I just wish i could've rested more =p. I blewed RM200 for the whole trip in two days =.=''. Also, i met many Unitenians there. At least a total of 50 uniten students were up there. Blah its like going back to uni >.<.

Most of the time, we just stay in First World. Played arcade games, ate alot, pool, snooker, watched Zorro 2, did rock climbing, ate alot, walked alot, bah the usual :). We stayed at Ria apartments, which was costing us RM 88 per night only for an apartment with 2 rooms, each having 2 single beds. 8 of us cramped into that room, but there was sufficient space for more. I brought my sleeping bag, so the floor was my bed.

Meh its gonna be a short 3 weeks, but i guess i'll enjoy it to the max, hopefully =D.

Yeah finally its over. The past two days i've been studying till early into the morning, sleeping at irregular hours and irregular periods, and it all came down to today's last exam : Materials. Im so done with it im not even gonna rant how hard Static was and how moderately hard Materials was. Everything is in God's hands now =).

I came back home today. Brought Gan along with me, while Tai Soon went to Adelynn's house to stay over. Right after dinner, i set up my PC back here, and then went to Adelynn's house with Gan and Mark to buat kacau XD. Wen Zhen went over too, so it kinda became a..... Uniten gathering in PJ =.=''. All of us went for yum cha at Williams, and Sook Mun joined us later onwards. Oh i ordered 2 pretty champion naan cheese (Mozerella Cheese Ham thinggymajig) that cost me over RM15 in total >.<. Bloodsuckers!

Tomorrow we'll be heading for Genting. My well deserved holiday has finally came true. The whole Uniten gang (Yi Jun, Gan, Eugene, Adelynn, Tai Soon, Wen Zhen, Mark and I) will be going. Will blog more about it after we're back 3 days later :). Meanwhile, take care every1 ^^.

Stressful >.<.

Lol guess where my friends and I went to study yesterday? We went to the library but it closed 30 minutes later, then we went the whole Uniten and it lack unoccupied space, so in the end, we head to McDs in Sri Serdang =.=''. What a uh, weird place to study, but nevertheless, we managed to a little i guess, with the company of ice cream and free-flow coke :p. In the evening we managed to grab a bite of the buka puasa stalls around. Champion stuff.

I've skipped church to rush my assignment which is due tomorrow. This is my last project of this sem, and its PRO/Engineer 3D modelling. Been modelling a tamiya car. Will post up the final product later for ya all to see ^^.

Calculus

I forced my ass everyday for almost 2 weeks long cramming calculus into my head, and and for a brief moment before i went into the exam hall, i was confident. I remembered the formulaes, done past year questions, did revision. And what it turned out to be? Too dang freaking hard >.<. Gay. Sigh. AT least im done with Calculus once and for all.

Yesterday i studied from 6.30pm - 2.00am and i had one piece of bread and twisties for dinner. Both very unlike me huh? It had its toll on me. In the end my head got so saturated and i was blur until..........

Oh the gayness. Lucky i realised that the moment i pushed the door open. And lucky there wasn't anyone in there.

Time is flying

Thats because im not fully prepared for exams. Yes, i brought over my Foundation year tactics for exam preparation - last minute study, and this time, it doesnt work with Degree year =.=''. Sigh~~. Let this be a lesson to me...

For the past few days, i've been studying 3 hours straight, the duration i can absorb educational facts before my brain saturates and refuses to take anymore. Besides that, i've been studying away from hostel, in my college building, because yesterday, i tried studying in my room, on my BED (because i dont have a table), and i went to sleep in less than 10 minutes. After 2 hours, not even 2 pages completed =.=''.

Oh yeah, recall that i usually got sick every time there was an exam? I dont know whether its the weather to blame, or the stress. Last times, i had Panadol to supress it and keep me standing. This time, i took a different, more effective approach. I went back home, had home cooked bakuteh, and well, pork for the next 3 days XD~~. Haha. I healed before i came back uni 3 days later =p.

Meh~ i gotta go sleep. Its 4+am in the morning and i dont feel sleepy. My bio clock is screwed. ^_^

The past few days, my mood has improved a well bit, thankfully ^_^. The unknown bother of mine, whatever it was, is finally gone. All i did was just to focus on the lil bits of blessings that i have, like the company of great friends, the blessings of a good family, a non-troubled financial state, my down-feathered pillows and comforters ^_^, and yes, even the occasional DOTA games i had. Sometimes when something tries to hurt you, tries to bring you down, all it takes to get up again is too reflect on whats worth living strong, living to the fullest for. Thank God i have lots to live for, and i'm sure more has yet to come ^_^. Amen to that.

This whole weekend has been a very, mystery week for me. At first, some people told me that i looked sad and tired, like something is bothering me. When i heard that, i went, "Where got laH~", cause i dont recall something bothering me. Thinking back today, i realised that its mostly true. I really wasn't myself for most of the whole week, and the reason i denied at first was because i dont know whats bothering me. I just felt bothered... Its like some unknown thing in the dark corner of my head is prodding itself into my happiness, slowly sapping my joy and energy, and i cant put my finger on what it is.

So when my caregroup planned to go for a water park outing at A Famosa yesterday, i was glad i could join. It was great, being able to just enjoy with my brothers and sisters in Christ, without having to tend to that uncertain bother i had within myself. I just let go and enjoyed myself, and it was refreshing in a sense.

The day started early in the morning, at around 7.30am. We met up, had a short fellowship, praise and worship, breakfast, before starting off in 4 cars, totalling 20 members. I drove and led the way as im familiar with the location of A Famosa. It took us about 1.5 hours to reach there. Tickets was cheap as we had promotional tickets from Giant =D. Bless the soul that gave us 30 of those tickets :P.

The water park wasnt bad at all, and i had the chance to sit this one ride, where we had to climb up 8 stories high, sit in a tube which eventually lead to an almost horizontal plunge. Crazy ride i tell u XD, but it was fun never the less. Sat it like 3 times. If they were to built lifts bring us up, i'd sit it more :P.

By about 3pm, the 20 of us splitted to 2, with 10 of us opting to return earlier while the other 10 went to Malacca town for dinner. I choosed to go home as later that night, i was supposed to join Kelly, Janice, Jo and Tai Leong to Petaling Street for shopping =P.

We reached home by 5.30pm, and had a rest, before i left again for P. Street at 7pm. Met Kelly at Mid Valley and she drove us to P. Street. We spent our time there walking around until 11pm, and all we bought were just 3 watches. Mine the battery died by the time i reached home. Worst RM 8 spent in my whole life XD. Haha.

Truly a great day, and most probably would be the last one in weeks to come. Exams are edging around the corners, baring its ugly self, and now, even tho im feeling a little better, im still not fully recovered. Shoo shoo unknown bother of mine and go away >.<. Its making me sooo unproductive. Bleh. Take care people =D

The Myth

Finally, i managed to catch a movie after my last movie which was Dark Water and happy to say, this wasn't as dirt as that =D. Starring Jackie Chan of course, and it didn't disappoint story wise (well maybe a certain points :P). It was a whopping 2+ hour!

I don't know who thought up the story, but its fairy tale like, and it fuses Chinese and Indian elements. Very nice thing. The Chinese epic battles were the parts i love most. Its rare to see Jackie Chan in such a serious role (as a General), but of course, he doesnt abandon his humour side of him (which some of us come to love, and some of us find it stale and old). For me, i find that his humour blends well with the serious role, and they dont contradict each other.

The story really didn't disappoint, and i find it rather refreshing and uncommon as compared to what we've used to from the cinemas. Unfortunately, the story is a tad illogical and is made worst by the substandard computer animations at certain parts. Of course, they're Hong Kies and we cant expect LOTR-like CG in their movies, but IF they were to have LOTR-like CG in this movie, it'll greatly reduce the illogical parts =D.

I looked beyond the lousy computer graphics, and watched the story presented, and i like it. The implementation needs brushing up, but at least the story is creative and entertaining. Best 9 bucks spent in weeks ^_^

Net was down in Uniten for the past night or so. Been choppy lately, and it finally crashed to a dead state for the whole of yesterday night, forcing me to watch Back to the Future Part 3 to kill free time. I did enjoy it so no complains. But i'd kill something if the connection wasn't back on by today, and luckily that didn't happen :).

Hmm... the stress is building once again as I draw neare to the finals' month. Starting from 17th next month. Ah, besides that, i'll be putting my ever fluctuating emotions into a 'modulated mode' for the next few weeks or so as to increase concentration for my exams preprations :P. Hope shit things wont happen to mess up my mind >.<. If you find this funny, well let me tell you, most of the shitty things that happens do me in the past have the tendency to happen during exam months. Hope that wont happen this year >.<.

On another note, my future-expenditure list has increased. Besides the Sony Ericsson K750i which im eyeing, i also have this urge to purchase a huge capacity harddisk for my leeching pleasure in uni (read: copy lots of movies, animes, games, music from my uni's network). This might set me back RM400, and i plan to source it from my PTPTN XD. Today i made some effort to clear my uni debts, and found out that they overcharged me RM 700 >.<. Lol once i clear that, my leeching dreams might come true XD.

I never realised how much i missed my home until i came back yesterday and felt sooooo comfortable being at home. The bed, the fridge, the tv, the cars =D. I missed all of these real bad. So it was of no regret i choosed to came home yesterday instead to staying back in uni.

Last Wednesday, my old foundation gang, Kelly, Janice, Josephine, Tai Leong, Eugene and I went for dinner together at Station One, Kajang. I really looked forward to this night for AGES >.< and finally it happened. So happy XD. Too bad Gan cant tag along as he had uh, prior made 'appointments' XD. Together all of us had dinner there, and chatted alot. We played Jenga (which Janice caused the block of towers to fall, and had to belanja us chinese tea), card game, and truth or dare. This Kelly >.< asked me such a question that night. Haha no elaboration here of course =p. It was a great night, and do quite felt a lil like the past ^_^.

Its raining heavily outside now. Such a nice weather to sleep in. Too bad i just woke up 20 minutes ago :P. Go find food now. ^_^

More tests are installed for me. One this Sunday, quiz tomorrow and on next Tuesday, finals beginning on 17th Oct. Assignments overload too. Bleh there wont be any rest for me.

On the other note, i managed to play a game of Dota today. Haha got trashed. Sadly. But heck, its good entertainment. Been studying till late night for the past week or so. A feat i'd say.

Mooncake festival's approaching. I want mooncake.... I haven't ate one yet this year! How sad can that be?

Oh, Janice asked me whether im interested in acting for Techflow's Christmas play. Haha considering =D.

Turned out horribly. Managed to leave about a total of 10 marks, which means the highest possible i could get is 30/40. But knowing how badly i did, getting half of the full marks would be a miracle already. Blah. My parents would understand. I mean, its BM for goodness sake XD.

On a different note, i got back my C++ Programming test results today and i got a suprising 90/100. Never saw that coming. Wish i could say the same for calculus result which i'm about to receive tomorrow.. >.<

Oh today i did my 5 minute-but-seem-like-5-hours BM public speaking. We're supposed to 'sell' a product, and i choosed my self-made water cooler as the product i'm selling. Uh, it went pretty funny i can tell. Was fidgeting while infront of everybody. Being first to talk is just dirt >.<. Why must my name start with A?? Can't i be Blwin or Clwin or something? Bleh~. I'm gonna make my son taste this too in the future. I'm gonna name him Aalwin or Aaalwin just in case. Not even Aba could kick him from teh top! XD

My diary is overdue for 2 weeks, and now i gotta sit down and recap everything >.<. Gonna be tedious, but i asked for trouble when i skipped writting it for the past 2 weeks :p. Shame on meh.

Just back from outing with a bunch of frens. Went to 1 Station at Sg Long, and was my first time going there. Went there at 11pm, came back at 3am. Mostly yum cha, and uh, funnily, play chordaidi and chinese chess... =.=''. Haha nevertheless, was fun.

Today is the last day of holidays. I'm now back in uni, settled down, and when things seem like its gonna start off nicely.

Then, i waited 50 minutes for my Nasi Goreng Kampung tak mau ikan bilis and tambah nasi. 50 minutes!!!!

As if that wasn't enough, some other crap have to work itself into my life. Add that to some unfinished work which is due tomorrow, i officially pronouce the start of the 2nd half of 1st sem = GAY.

Bah i want to say again. My holiday hasn't started! >.<''. After 5 days of what supposed to be my term break, im feeling dull and disappointed because i've never had a holiday like this before - stuck in house most of the time, brooding over my soundcard sales, my assignments, cracking my head to think of project solutions, forcing myself to study...

Where is the supposed to be excitement and fun and whatever holidaying thingies i shud be doing????

The only thing i enjoyed in this week was yesterday's outing with Kelly to Pyramid (more on that later) and chatting on webcam with cute Janet. According to my previous holidays, i should be doing more stuff!! T_T. Bah curses to First Year Degree workload! #@#$%@#%#!!#.

Yesterday nite i met up with Kelly for a movie in Pyramid. We decided to forgo the 1U plans as it was pretty late and she wasn't free on any other days. Uh, we watched Dark Water, which was.... pretty... ok. =.=''. Don't make me explain, i just cant find a proper way to explain the dang show. And i wouldn't want to spoil for those that have yet to watch it :P.

Ah... my K750i will be coming.... in a few months time X_X. I've decided to take 1 more shipment of soundcards for sale to secure my financial situation before splurging it on the new phone. I'll save too if it drops within the 1 or 2 months. My PTPTN came in, enough for me to get the phone, but i darenot use money from it cause my total debt to the uni is same as the amount i was given for this sem... M3h... Can't wait for it =D. Once its here, this blog will be filled with pictures everyday XD.

Holidays and Merdeka

Ughhh this is the first time i had a holiday that is sooooo boring. I shock myself. I even managed to finish my C++ Programming project and assignment 2 days into the holiday! Ah well... its expected i guess, with so much to do. Im now cracking up my head on what to do for my BM public speaking presentation. I'm supposed to sell a product or service. Any recommendations? =D

Oh last night Jay called me out for yum cha on merdeka eve. We went to Pyramid, or at least, we tried. We got stucked in the bloody U turn in front of Pyramid for 1 hour! While midnight struck we were still in the mid of the U turn, and the whole traffic came to a standstill as the fireworks were lit from Sunway Tower. Everyone came out of their vehicles to watch, and the nice thing is, for the duration of the fireworks, no one horned their vehicles. Yeah the fireworks display was very captivating and breathtaking =). Been a while i've seen something like that.

Oh its halfway thru the holidays but i'm not even halfway thru my to-do list. Bleh. I'm still banking on the hope that Kelly would come find me and tarik me out of this boredom. *prays hard*

Meh its been quite a while since i've blogged. Lately these days i rarely find myself in a mood to talk. Heck, i even rarely find myself in my usual mood. With the constant barrage of assignments and test, i even rarely find time to take a break :(.

In the past weeks, i've gone through 2 test, namely Statics and Calculus, both which i've pretty messed up. Then i've received tons of assignments for the coming term break, which now i've come to conclude that i wont consider it as 1 week holiday but rather, 1 week school at home >.<. Not to mention last Monday, after Calculus, i spent 6 hours finishing my technical drawing assignment which was due Tuesday. Yes that means i didn't get any sleep at all during the night. Well ok maybe 10 minutes but its ignorable =D. So i end up a walking vegetable the next day, but i covered it all back with a 12 hour sleeping marathon the next nite :P.

Today i went to Low Yat Plaza with a bunch of my pals for a lookaround. Was scouting for the K750i. Cost roughly RM1400+ for AP set. Sigh i just cant wait for my loan to come in. I bumped into my ex-manager and he happened to be buying the same phone too. Argh so jealous. Oh he also offered to give me a free portable Edifier speaker. Best =D. This trip was not in vain!

Oh lately i have some joker who is going around blogs and framing me with my nick name. Claims that i like a particular someone. Not that i cant take jokes, but i find this method of joking highly childlike. Yeah u know the ones kindergardeners use "Haha you likeeeee~ ***". I usually take teases and jokes with a laugh, but this immature kind of jokes, the type i myself know its inappropriate to do onto other people for the fear of starting rumours and hurting the other party, gets on my nerves. It would'nt be that bad if its true, but it isn't. To that person that did that, grow up. Yeah not grow up physically, but grow up where it counts ;).

Meh im sleeping late today again. Another last test this coming Friday night before i uh... technically start my holidays (technically k? :P). Hope i can actually find time for R&R. Im pretty downcast because i and Kelly have planned an outing together with a bunch of friends, friends which were very close together during the Foundation year of uni (but no longer? :( sigh...). Unfortunately everyone's plans have to clash here and there, and now i no longer see the light i saw while i first conceived the plan. Am i fault to be so hopeful and over-looking forward to this, thus causing me such disappointment at the end when things didn't work out? Well, if i am, at least Kelly share the same fault :). Ah its not a fault im ashamed of anyway. I pray for the best :).

Regarding the fast and pray... Well.. i've been doing it with a few breaks here and there :p. Other than that, i usually fast 5 days per week. 1 week left! Haha im gonna treat myself big after this. I fast both breakfast and lunch per day :p. Big feat.

Rollercoaster week

It was one heck of a week. Haha i figured out that having a car in uni helps greatly in everything... With a car i can go out eat more often, esp getting to eat pork XD~~~. Oh, i even went to the library too because got car. Haha makes things much easier right :). Now no more car.... *sigh*. I want car! Psst... my christmas present this year... jot it down... XD

Oh.. my PTPTN stuff has been settled, and the agreement as been signed, so i can breath a sigh of relieve cause my financial backup is already there. If i dont get that PTPTN, i'll be a goner. Might need to stop uni to work before i can continue my studies... =.=''

The haze for the week was horrible. Classes got postponed, and even my Calculus exam is postponed to next week. Hurrah for that :P. Still, i have 2 other exams in the next few days, so i cant slack :(.

Bah there isnt much to write. My emotional state is pretty bumpy these days, and i cant seem to put my finger on why. Gets pretty irritating. Sounds too much like a girl's thing >.<. Not good at all. Haha no offense to gals :p. I was merely joking.

Prepaid no more! PC Fair over!

Last Saturday, i finally registered for a postpaid! Yeap my number remains the same, but now i no longer have to pay crazy charges. Sigh my excessive usage for the past month prompted me to do this =.=. I've signed up for the Package 75, which is considerably cheap. The only catch is i'll have to use a minimum for RM75 every month. Haha, something i dont think i'll have trouble with. Now what's left is getting a new mobile phone... :p.

Oh besides that, PC Fair ended on Sunday. I've skipped fasting on Saturday and Sunday because i needed the energy :(. These 3 days, i get barely enough sleep, about 4 hours only daily. Every night after coming back from KLCC, my legs felt like they're hanging by a thread >.<.

Oh i got car in uni for this week! I went back house last night instead of straight to uni, so today, i drove my dad's car down to uni. He's away for a business trip until Thrusday, so i'll get to use it until then XD. Happiness! No more walking XD.

Hmmm what else? This sunday i'll be having Calculus mid term exam. Die lo =.=. Gotta study

PC Fair II 2005 at KL Convention Center

Finally, after missing the last PC fair, im back again for this PC Fair. It was held in a week right smack between two subject tests, so i was pretty lucky. As usualy i worked for Edifier, my ex company which i've been working for the last PC Fairs and before i entered uni. FYI, they are a speaker distributor company :).

Oh this time, the PC Fair venue has been changed from the regular PWTC to KL Convention Center, next to the Twin Towers. Getting there from uni was pretty tough. Luckily i have 3 companions with me, Gan, Tai Soon and Adelynn =D. We took KTM down to KL Central and took LRT to KLCC. We got lost finding the place, and when we finally, found the place, i have to go up 3 floors and down 3 floors to reach the booth.

The new place was pretty ok, with the major companies in the Ballroom. Lotsa chicks up there, but in the main Hall where most of the exhibitors are, things we're less, uh, appealing :p. I didnt have much time to scout, cause i was late, so i rushed to my booth and prepare for the long day ahead.

Edifier's booth was getting prettier every PC Fair. This time, they even have this huge arch over the booths. A few new models were in, which were not bad, and also a line of portable speakers. I had a field time playing with them :p. Even more fun is mixing around with the staffs (most of them i've just met), the routine of giving fliers, the capturing potential customers and finally, closing the deal. I managed to sold 12 various units for the first day i think. Might be a record :p.

Throughout the day i've met many friends, including those from uni (some even that i dont know =.=''), old school, and childhood pals! This is partly what makes working in PC Fair so rewarding (yes, even if i have to sacrifice my legs! XD).

Things ended by 10pm, and i went back with Pin, Wong and Hooi Ping. On the way back, i met this customer that tested the speaker previously. Damn this guy is some nutter. He tried to pick on Pin and even asked for her handphone number! I so felt like punching his face if its not for us being in a public area. He kept following us, and when we boarded the train, i got Pin to a side while Wong and Hooi Ping was with him talking. I smsed Wong and Hooi Ping to tell them that he is nuts and i dont know him. Luckily he left at Pasar Seni, but he did thought of coming of at KL Central, where Pin is going off. He asked me whether his ticket which he bought for Pasar Seni can be used for KL Central because its same price, and i lied he cant for the sake of Pin. Dang bastard.

Well, anyway Pin reached home safely, so all's well. Uh not to well for me tho i now have an aching leg and i need to rest for tomorrow's work. Bleh. Take care peeps!

40 day fast and prayer, Stealth and hair cut

Ok back on track =D. Since last weeked, i've started the 40 Day Fast and Prayer which is held annualy by NECF. Im mostly fasting both breakfast and lunch, and eat only dinner. I dont abstain from liquid of course, but i tend to take heavy dinners :p. Still, it was pretty ok for me, which im sure MOST people would find that IMPOSSIBLE. Haha. True i was tempted everytime, esp while joining friends who are taking lunch, but nothings too hard for meh! XD. I have 30 more days to go. Hopefully i'll hold out.

I watched Stealth today. As i predicted from the trailer which i saw weeks ago, this show is predictable right to the end. But i find it entertaining and fun to watch, being a classic kinda show. Its like those old time movies where humans make super powerful machines and they go haywire and start killing humans. Yeah, i used to watch lots of movies like this when i was young. So i find this show refreshing to say the least, as it was quite a while since there was anything like this. But once should be enough =D.

Ooh i got a haircut, finally, after 3 months? My hair is back to its short, gel-able length. Im going back to my spiky looks =p.

I gotta run. 3 pails of clothes left to wash and the sun's long gone. >.< please bring me lotsa wind tonight!!! ^_^

Such is life

Finally i've felt like i'm getting used to life here in uni again. Much has happened in the past few weeks, which im too busy to update lately :(.

First off, life is fine :). Few days ago i've been plagued by a slurry of quizzes, assignments, homeworks, etc. Been coping with it pretty ok, but i need to buck up on my studies, and i've been skipping classes lately. Mainly cause i can hardly wake up on time. You see, all my classes are 8am classes...

Which brings me to the second issue. Dota. Staying in a apartment that has a network filled with so many dota players isnt good. There is so many opporturnities to play Dota. I mean, today my friend just set up a Dota Battlenet emulated server on his pc and since then, we've been spreading the news. In just a few hours, 60+ people already signed up and usually 2 or 3 games are running simultaneosly. Not good.... Besides that, internet too is quite a distracting factor =(.

Oh lately, i've met so many great friends. The foundation students this year are all a bunch of nice people, so its a wonderful thing that i get to meet them :). Been finding myself smsing alot too =.=''. I'm considering changing my prepaid to postpaid. I've used almost RM100 this month alone, a record for me. Bad.... I'm also contemplating on whether to get a new phone. I'm eyeing the Sony Ericsson K700i. Second hand it'll fetch about RM500-600?

Erm, what else to update. My CCTV camera which i used as a webcam went dead recently. Why i dont know. It just wouldnt want to on. Either someone damaged it unknowingly, or some funny thingy caused it to malfuncion. RM30 down the drain. Should i consider a colour webcam going at RM65? Hmm....

I have 8am class later. Look at the time. 3am+. Im dead. I have to sleep. Take care people! ^_^

Guess this is the result of stress :(. Either that or i blame the darn fickle weather. One moment super hot, the next, super cold. Kinda sound like a girl's mind huh? XD.

Blah i cant believe it. Foundation year we have like 1 assignment per 3 month? No homeworks, no after class BS. Now we get like almost everyday for every subject! Where can i find time to slot in my DOTA time???

Ok so maybe i did forced DOTA into my already hectic timetable. In fact, i DOTAed last night until 3am. Woot today i fell asleep every 10 minutes in Technical Drawing class. Lucky it was pretty dark so the lecturer did not see. I hope. Bah there were other people sleeping too so i dont feel that bad XD.

That day i went to watch Amittyville Horror, which i have to admit, the storyline isnt that bad compared to most horror movies out there. The horror factor was acceptable, but it wasnt that scary. At least there wasnt too much cheap scare tactics like things popping out of no where during expected times =.=.

Oh yes exams are coming, and PC Fair is coming. I'll most likely be working, given that my exams dont clash with the fairs. Crossing my fingers.

Also, i've recently started another self-for-fun project. I bought a black and white CCTV camera from a friend for RM30 only. The exact same camera used in One Utama shopping complex in the old wing. Pretty good pic quality :). Wanted to use it as CCTV monitoring in my hostel, but now using it as a webcam. Then i found out that webcaming is blocked by my hostel's firewall! What the heck?? Discrimination! Not only that, they block bittorent, DC++, other P2P programs! And its super slow during peak hours.

Sigh.......

Lol at least i got internet la. I always look at the bright side :p. Now if i can only strangle the network admin...... *evil grin*.

Uni started last week, and its been hectic hectic hectic all the way. Most of the days, its either i cracking my head to make a suitable and nice timetable, or i'll be running back and forth to get scholarship application forms.

Speaking of timetable, i finally managed to get the timetable i wanted. It took me from 11.30am - 4.30pm, camping in my hostel infront of my computer. Together with my roommates, we opened the link to every subject we're taking, and set the page to autorefresh. Then we wait and wait for people to leave the classes we wanted (its already full), and the moment we had a space, we rushed in :p.

Hmmm besides that, i went back during the weekend, and went to low yat and sg wang to meet my Chaintech AV710 soundcard bulk customers. Hectic and tiring >.<. And today, i had drama practice for Youth Sunday in my church.

Basically this is the compressed rundown version of my week. Oh yeah yesterday (Sunday) is Kelly's 19th birthday! Yay Happy Birthday to her! ^_^

One Utama, and Steamboat at Sunway

Ok so we're supposed to have another Jatian Dinner, but our champion organizers like to tell everything last minute, so best, end up become, uh, farewell dinner for few of our friends that are overseas bound in a few weeks time :p.

It started with Lionel coming to pick me up, after picking up Wei Cheng. Today he'll be the driver, a change for me since i'm the one always picking people up >.<. I can clearly hear my mom's rejoicing cry in the background.

Of we went to One Utama, and there, we met up with Alex who is working in Fourskin, some lala-like shop. But then there was this pretty looking worker there, so i dont mind working in such a shop. Uh, we accompanied Wei Cheng shopping around, which in the end she only spent like RM50 on a t-shirt at Wh. Suprisingly, after much talk from her about MNG sales, she did not buy anything there.

Then we went for some Lecka Lecka ice cream goodness, and Auntie Anne's sexy pretzels. Once we're done with that, we played pool, and foosball at the new bowling alley in 1U. The equipments there were horrible. Me and Lionel end up having fits of laughter while playing futsal because we realised a little too late that Lionel is short of 1 player, and his players keep slipping off the table -.-.

We were quite late to reach the Steamboat restaurant at Sunway (opposite the Sunway Projet) thanks to Justina :p. There, we met up with Yoong Ming, Yoon Wei and Yin Mae as well as her bf. Chang Bing joined a little later. Food was pretty good, especially the bbq chicken wings! I had like 10+ of em. Steamboat on the other hand was pretty standard. Cost us Rm18+ per head, drinks seperate of course.

We ended our dinner at about 11pm, and split up. Lionel, Wei Cheng, Justina, Alex and I head to Centrepoint MacDonald for (more) ice cream, and we took pictures. Then Lionel became driver again and send us all back. Thank you Lionel we appreciate your services! :D

Pics will be uh, up, hopefully, in a few weeks time, after i've settled in the first semester of my uni's new academic year. That includes the clubbing and overnight at Wen'z place pics. Meanwhile, take care everyone! :)

Last Saturday : Kai Jen's suprise birthday party

Yesterday we had a bday party for Kai Jen. The church youth members plus some adults went over to his place while he was bathing, and hid in his piano room. Then his wife 'tripped' the electrical system, and called him to switch it on back. He came down stairs, all dark, and switched the power back on. On cue, we started singing happy birthday from inside the room, and all 15+ of us emerged, stunning Kai Jen. The look on his face was priceless. He was like 0.0 WTH? and he was wearing his shorts only -.-'' (luckily).

We had bbq, some champion home made curry laksa, and went off by 12am XD. Bloated myself with food, and gave back by cooking some :).

Last Friday : Low Yat Plaza and Midvalley; crashed at Wen Zhen's Place

Finally, i went to Low Yat at least once during the holidays :D. Dropped by Kelly's mom's stall in Sg Wang first to pass her something, and then went to Low Yat. Bought an MP3 player, SD RAM, and battery charger, all for my cousin, while for myself, nothing =(. Managed to chat with few friends, before rushing off to Midvalley to meet with Pin Pin for a movie. She came just in time to be 5 minutes early for the show -.-''. Oh yeah we watched Mr and Mrs Smith, which was essentially, pretty funny, pretty weird, pretty stupid, and pretty pointless all in one -.-.

Went back, took dinner, and then at 11pm, went over to Wen Zhen's place. Fione, who was supposed to go back today, end up staying back another night at Wen Zhen's place because of transport problems. So i went over, brought lotsa movies and my DVD player, and we end up watching some movies as well as Initial D 2nd Stage -.-''. Took lotsa pics too XD. Fione 'KO-ed' at around 6am, and since i was on the verge of KOing too, i went back.

Last Thrusday : Barfly and Zouk

Fione and Wen Zhen planned to go clubbing last Thursday, and invited me as well as Kelly along. Coincidentally, Xettie members were having a farewell for Kae on that night too. Stuck on which to go, i decided to go both XD. It was ladies night at Barfly, so the gals decided to tag along too :).

I pick the gals up at about 8pm, and reached Barfly at around 9pm. There I met Kae and Peter(aka Holick Peng). Peter was an old friend, met him while i was working 1 year plus ago, while Kae (who was hot on that day :D), this was only the 2nd time seeing her. The darling got me a free cup of whisky, and got herself blacklisted because of that :(. I'm so sorry Kae for the trouble. But then she said she'll be gone for 6 months anyway so lets hope no one from Barfly remembers her after 6 months :p. The rest of the Xettie gang members were Hazel, Rourou(yaaaa u look like 20-21 -.- faster tell me your real age XD), Nom Nom, Wauhaha, Hayanna(Hayanna too drunk to remember me! but my fault for not finding her earlier =.=''. what to do no one wants to intro her to me :( ), Nunu, Phoebe, and a few other people which i missed out. Took pics there like crazy. The gals were doing funny poses on each other -.-''

After spending about 2 hours at Barfly, we met up with Wen Zhen's sis and friend and head to Zouk. Zouk's interior was pretty interesting, albiet boring after a while. UV lights everywhere. The place so so damn dark i cant even see leng lui's face >.<. Speaking of that, 1U Initial D opening more leng lui than Barfly and Zouk combined =.=. Also was ladies night at Zouk, so the gals got in free, while i paid the RM 30 cover charge. Oh and i met Jee May there too! The night was young apparently, and we waited until 12am before the party started. Everyone started dancing, 0.o and i dont dance(more like i cant dance...). The gals forced me, so what to do, i had to dance. If you can call that dancing -.-''. I asked Kelly how did i look just now, whether i was out of place or not. She said no, it looks like i can dance, but i dont want to dance... lol so fine, i dont look as terrible as i think i might look, still, i felt awkward. Guess its not my kind of entertainment :P. Oh not to mention, the sound quality of the boomboxes in Zouk were horrible, but i guess its clubbing type >.<. Cant imagine tight sounding subwoofers in Zouk. Everyone would complain : "OI Why no bass wan!" XD

We stayed there until 2am, then off we went. Sent Kelly back. Road was pretty empty, so we took lots pics in car XD.

Last Wednesday : Initial D launching at One Utama, and Initial D movie at Mines

Hi people its been a while since i've blogged. The holidays have been alright so far, with me going out till late night for the last few days -.-''. I'll have a flurry of posts just to blog on the last few day. Lets start with Wednesday :

Last Wednesday, in the evening, 4pm, i head to One Utama for the launching of the new Initial D movie starring Jay Chou (of all the crappy actors in HK/China, why choooose himmmm?). There was an event held at the open space car park in 1U. It was mainly booths with people promoting car parts, telcos, and other car related stuff. I managed to get some freebies by presenting a print out voucher. Met a few ex-schoolmates too. Oh yeah, lotsa lala chais/muis but behind those, lotsa leng lui too :D. Must've been here to see Jay Chou.........

Who's supposed to come only ay 7.30pm >.<. Oh and there is this Drift Attack event, which is a drift competition, also starting at 8pm only. So off i go, back to help give fliers for my mom, and after that, came back at 8pm. On the way, a friend, Wen Zhen, who was there, to see the cast appearance, called me and told me that the they were there. At that time, i was nearby 1U, finding for parking space. 5 minutes later, she told me they were gone. WTH? Appearance or passing by only? >.<. Ah nvm la that means that they're not giving autographs so i dont care anyway, cause they're only good there if i can get an autograph for a friend.

So who cares about Jay Chou when you got lotsa sexy cars thats gonna compete in drifting soon? Well apparently most of the girls >.<. Lots of them left after the appearance. Bah more space then =p. The drift was midly entertaining. There were a slurry of FR (front engine, rear wheel drive) cars that drifted, including the infamous Toyota Corolla (Trueno) AE86. I did managed to chat up with a guy that was driving a KE70 with a 4AGZE engine (the original AE86 enging but with a stock supercharger). Ahhh the sexiness of a supercharger XD. Besides that, by ear, you can also identify certain AE86 with the Silvertop, 20 valve 4AGE engine. These are the cars that can manage high revs, up to 11k, and their acceleration strecthes very long. Soooo how i love to be in the car XD~~~

I left the place a lil early, before the Tsuiso event (the one chase one follow event). Drove to Pudu to pick up Fione, who just came back from Redang. Our plan, together with Wen Zhen and Kelly, was to go to Mines to watch Initial D. Why mines? Cause all the other places in KL were fully booked! Wen Zhen and Kelly went ahead first, to collect the tickets while i went to pick Fione up. Damn i must be crazy to go all the way to Mines (30 minute drive), to watch the launching of a movie (i dont even watch much movies, what more the launching??). As for the movie, it was mildly interesing, quite funny, deviated alot from the anime, yet, has lots of similarities too. Hardcore anime fan of Initial D might be disappointed, but if you just dont keep comparing the movie to the anime, it'll be a nice watch :).

We head back right after that, which was already 2+pm. Send Kelly home, and back to PJ :).

Next up will be my outing to Barfly and Zouk! ^_^

Yeap finally my 2 week holiday had started. Thus it mark the end of my Foundation Year special sem, a sem filled with mainly Dota, network gaming, basketballing, outings, and 3 days of intense, stress filled exam preparation :p. Sigh im gonna miss the special sem.

Few days ago, on Thrusday, one day after the finals, i follow Yi Jun for dinner with some friends of his (and not too close friends of mine). One of them was this cute chiq i've always admired (admired only k cause she is cute ^_^). Lol unfortunately all mandarin and canto speaking people there >.<. Sighhhhhhhh its a bad time to be a banana XD.

I came back last night. Tired and beaten down from transferring all my belongings back from uni to home (FYI, we change apartments every end of semester). Next month i'll be starting in a new apartment, this time with internet :D. Hallelujah XD. No more internet deprivation.

Im still contemplating what i should do this weekend. Mostly outing with my friends. So much to do, so little time. And Foundation yeat is supposed to be the most relaxing year. I'm gonna miss it. Well, at least i can look forward to another ex school mate coming to uni (Adelynn), as well as the new batch of intakes, which im crossing my fingers that there'll be more chinese gals XD. Uniten is in dire need of more Chinese girls :p. I gotta train my 'nice-senior-pose'. Never know when it'll come in handy XD.

So how is everyone doing? Lots of people are going overseas in this few weeks right? Sigh more friends going away. Keep in touch k :).

Bah i fell into this dirt fever lately. Just few days before exams somemore. And because of that i cant study properly. Sigh :(.

Today i had Physics exam. Was moderately hard, and i forgotten few formulaes. Hopefully i can manage thru. Have to pray extra hard for Calculus since i haven't started studying it yet. Die lor >.<

Exam Stressss!!

Bah i'll have another exam this coming Monday and Wednesday. Finals for this sem. Then 2 weeks holidays, before i start my 1st year degree. The stress is mounting, yet i still play DOTA alot. Tak bagus =.=''.

Oh and i get 28/30 for my Physics mid term XD. Highest so far i got.

And next sem i'll be getting internet! XD. T3h joy! :P

19th birthday... lau looooor! XD

Woot im finally 19th! Means im old! I think. Well thats what everybody seems to be calling me. Many thanks to my friends that took me out for lunch at Shakey's, and the wonderful presents. Janice + 8 other friends gave a this great book; The Bourne Trilogy. All 3 Bourne series in one hugeass book XD. Can't wait for the holidays to read it. And Suegin got me a blue necktie :D. Haha believe it or not its my first non-organizational tie. Meaning its my first tie which isnt my school tie or uni tie :p. Double yay.

Oh and the next day, my uni caregroup members celebrated a lil bit too. I was teasing Ivan to let me drive his car because i knew he wouldnt let. Then i asked him to get me a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR, which of course i was joking. 15 minutes later he gave me a present. Guess what, a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR..... 1/32 scale model! I was LMAO non stop. How ironic was that. After that i kept asking offering 'rides' to people :p.

Its great to have so many nice friends. Thanks to to everyone that celebrated my bday, and those that wished me too. God bless you all ^_^.

Physics exam

Was a little crappy. But i managed to pull it through with a day's worth of cramming 4 chapters into my hear (+ a few sessions of DOTA).

I apologize for updating so little in these few days. Kinda stressed with so many things going on around. This Special Semester might have less classes per day but there are more stuff to do (mainly DOTA... and Naruto :P). Oh speaking of Naruto im at ep 78 now. Still got lots to catch up but can settle in few days :D.

Gotta study hard. Oh yeah i got back my Calculus mid term results. I got 47.5/60! Thank you God! =D. For those that dont know of my horrible Calculus performance, dis is actually something to rejoice :P.

BBQ, Sleeover and Shopping

I kinda felt i had to write more on the outing with my uni friends so here is it! =)

Friday evening, a bunch of us (Janice, Suegin, Josephine, Tai Leong, Andrew and me) drove down from Uniten to PJ. We went to Restoran Talipon opposite the Kelana Jaya LRT station for dinner. The girls were looking forward to this and as for me... buffet bbq is in my 'automatically must go places' list =p. Jay, Kevin, Eugene and her girlfriend joined us later on. The price per head (adult) is RM18.80, and for that, you get to eat all you can eat BBQ. Take the raw food, and either u bbq it on a hot plate, or steamboat style. Oh yeah there was desserts, ice cream and cakes too XD. I kinda overate but hey, how often that happens right =p.

Right after that, we went to Suegin's place in Subang. We crashed overnight there, onlining, playing monopoly and uh, chordaidi. Everyone slept on the floor except Janice and i who were sleeping on sofas. Caused me some back aches da next day but heck, i still slept well =p.

The next day, we went for (gruesome)shopping. Haha we did our rounds at Ikea, Ikano and Tesco. Most of the guys legs went into overdrive to keep up with the girl's alloy legs. Apparently whenever girls enter a shopping complex or a mall, they get +100 to stamina. We shopped from 1pm to 7pm, then they sent me home.

Took light dinner, before i had to rush off for SONGS 2005 in Hope of God, PJ. Its some kind of concert. It was mildly fun, and ended by 10pm. Had supper with Jay, while watching Arsenal kick MU's butt (ok maybe not. they were defending their butts instead, but at least the got to kick ass during the penalties XD).

Ahh thus ends my day =D. Hectic, yet satisfying. Don't you just love outings with friends ^^. Take care people ^^

Sleepover at Suegin's Place

Now bloggin from Suegin's place in Subang now. Had a sleepover last nite with Janice, Suegin, Andrew, Tai Leong and Josephine. Earlier on we had dinner at Restoran Talipon. Its the Buffet BBQ type of place, and i kinda extra stuffed myself XD. Oh yeah Jay and Kevin came for dinner too, and Eugene and his girlfriend too =D.

MUET Speaking Test

Yesterday i had my MUET speaking test. It wasn't all that bad if not for the long waiting period. I was the last team of all 4 team, and had to wait for 2 hours before i got tested >.<. Topic was about Snatch Thieves, so i managed to pull it through. One less thing worry of. Now if only i can get myself to study for my coming Calculus exam this Saturday. Darn Naruto is keeping me away from my books >.<.

2nd semester finals result

Sorry i have been away lately. Alot of DOTAing in the apartment. I'll soon post some dota pics :). Other pics will be here real soon!

I got back my results a few days back. It wasn't bad, but i wished i could scored higher. Nevertheless i thank God for the help because i kinda slacked off during the 2nd sem and even tho i would want higher scores, im very grateful for what i've received :).

Physics : A-
Calculus : B
Chemistry : A-
Computer Skills : A
Physics Lab : A

GPA : 3.51
CGPA as of 2nd sem : 3.54

it was a small drop compared to last sem. I gotta maintain if i want to have a CGPA of > 3.50 by the end of 3rd sem. Ish Dota isnt good for me >.<

MUET >.< and back from uni

I slept for 4 hours only before i had to wake up for MUET. Totally a waste of time, this funniness of a test. Kinda standard SPM format, with the extra Listening and Speaking tests. In Listening test, we had to listen to some recorded talk and answer questions based on what we heard. How gay can it be?

Anyway, after that, i tagged along wiht Jay and Eugene back home. Little i did at home except catching up with lost sleep. Cousin got his first paycheck and decided to celebrate in conjuction with Mothers Day. He bought all of us dinner at a fancy restaurant. Darn and i had to overeat =.=

Late night DotA and Sg Wang outing

Since i've settle in, there has been mucn DotAing around, no thanks to the new 9 player network we made by crossing network cables left and right outside our windows. 3 hub/switch combo with a total of 9 players connected permanently, with more coming occasionally with their notebooks = a hell of a DotA time XD. We can play all the way will 5am non stop >.<.

Yesterday i went down to Sg Wang with a bunch of my pals from uni. That includes Me, Gan, Eugene, Taileong, Suegin, Janice, Josephine and Andrew. We went there in 2 cars, and had lunch at Suegin's mom's stall near Giant (in Sg Wang). After that, we did some strolling around cause the girls windowshopped, then we head to the arcade. Played foos there XD. More strolling around, before we headed to Swenson's for Earthquake ice ceram! XD~~~. It was Tuesday, aka Earthquake day. 50% off. We ordered 2 regular earthquakes, and i counted the flavors available, which was 17 flavors. So i told the guy, i want all flavors except Lime Sherbet (cause 8 scoops per earthquake) :p. Total of 16 scoops of ice cream, ate by 6 of us. Suegin ate earlier before, and she ate one whole regular earthquake by herself. Chisiness >.<.

We head to imbi for a while, before going to low yat plaza after that. More strolling, and i bump into Beach Boy. Lots of strolling (in fact, the whole LYP) because Janice had great difficulties in deciding which CD pouch to buy, which she eventually did after about 2 rounds around low yat >.<. (we now call that pouch her new husband).

Back in uni

Yeap uni has started and im back here safe and sound. My new apartment isnt that bad, and my parents came yesterday to help me settle in and clean the place =D. Nothing much happened except that we started late night gaming yesterday. We plan to network our PCs with my other friends that are living at the sides and on top. Should be 12 PCs all together :D. More late night gaming :p. I can feel this sem will be a disaster academically =.=''.

Today's classes were cancelled, so here i am, blogging, and hopefully can go back to hostel and sleep soon. Take care all meantime ya :)

3 weeks holidays over, back to Uniten :(

Funny how 3 weeks of holidays flew past as if its just 3 seconds? Such sadness. But then again, it was a great 3 weeks. Hmm let me see what i've accomplished within the past 3 weeks...

1) Managed to use Bittorrent to its full potential. Downloaded loads of OSTs and instrumental songs for my listening pleasure back in uni XD.
2) Started and finished Full Metal Alchemist anime in 3 days, and read its manga until the latest scanlation release
3) Met up with lots of people, including old NBTD members, xettieboard members, ex-school mates, DC++ hub members.
4) Helped out in Sunday School for 2 weeks.
5) Started a bulk on Chaintech AV-710 soundcards in lowyat.net
6) Went fishing and landed 7 fishes
7) 2 days of basketball
8) Reformatted 3 PCs, including my own, my cousin's and my brothers
9) Got utterly broke =.=

Cant remember the rest :p. Not bad for 3 weeks huh. Except the got broke part :(. But its worth it :).

Just now i went back to uni to shift most of my stuff back. Brought back my PC, books, kitchen stuffs and other misc items. Dragged my brother and my cousin to do the labour job :p. This time its just 2 flights of stairs, but i've shifted to another block further away :(. Nevermind la 2 months only. Oh yeah i doubt there'll be internet access yet. Stupid lazy management couldnt bother less. Hopefully in 2 months time once i shifted to another hostel i'll get internet access =D.

Oh yeah i end up driving fast again on the way back. Cant help it when im driving my dad's 2.0 V6 Galant XD. Only managed 150kph this time. Darn i should try to abstain from speed >.<. Not good for health.

Anyway i gotta sleep. Blogging this 3am in the morning and i have church later. Take care all :)

One Utama outing, then Ex-5 Jatian Gathering #4 at Souled Out, Sri Hartamas

Today was a hectic day -.-. Woke up at 10am to help my dad at one of his client's house for security software installation. Rushed back home by 2pm to bath, took a quick lunch and then zoomed to One Utama to meet Adelynn and Jillian. Met up at TGI Fridays, where both of them were eating some tasty delicious Chocolate Mocha Fudge thingy (which i eventually sapu all for them =P, and made adelynn pay =P x2). We then had a round of pool, and window shopped before we bought some snacks and went to Sharon's place (she was supposed to join us but poor her came down with flu). Its been a while since i've been her place. About 4 years i think. XD.

Right after that, i sent both Jill and Adelynn back, and rushed back myself to change and get ready for the reunion dinner. Went to pick up Wei Cheng and Justina, who by the way, were both wearing the same top, more or less same jeans, and same high heels. Siaoness this two jokers stick together too much liao =.=''

It was gathering no 4 for Ex 5 Jatians of 2003 :D. This time, it was a blast! Greatest turn out of all gatherings. A staggering 20 people came out of our class total of 27 people. Not bad huh? But those jokers came without confirming caused me trouble >.<. When i arrived i requested for a table seating of 14 people, then i ask then add to 16, then..... 20 >.<. Buat malu only. But oh well Souled Out staffs are just so nice. Always smilling and ever helpful :). We got relocated to a bigger area

Most of the time everybody was crapping, walking around snapping photos. Our ordered food and drinks totalled to about RM 451 for 20 people.

On Wednesday night i join the members from Xettie at Brewball, Mid Valley. Among those that joined are wauhaha, nom nom, Hazel, smei, yy, rourou, kae, cheryl, freddie, nunu and p4n6 :). We played pool, foosball, drank beer, then when the place closed, we convoyed to Sri Hartamas for yum cha. Lol i stoned all the way during yum cha session. On my right was cantonese territory, on my left was mandarin territory, and my side with me all alone, english =.=''. Paiseh to be banana >.<''.

But then i had a great time and i was a pleasure meeting those xettie members that i havent meet :). Hope can tag along next time again ^^.

Finally i got to meet some peeps that hog the xettieboard. Met freddie, wauhaha, nom nom, hazel, clement and cheryl! Nice bunch of people :). We had dinner at Kim Gary, The Curve (first time there) and then head to Nusa 2 outside Ikea for a few rounds of pool. Had beer, which i dislike as compared to wine/whisky. Bitter taste tak ngam with me :p.

CS Outing

Just back from a small CS outing with the old NBTD members. Took LRT all the way to Wangsa Maju to a cybercafe called Tbun. Funny name. But they have 100pcs in good condition, and they charge RM2.50 per hour. Not bad at all. Played CS Source. After that, had late dinner of roti telur planta, which no one heard of before (even the mamak fella). Funniness. Such a good combo, and none tried before? Must try :D.

Oh yeah i called Janice on the way back from Wangsa Maju (22 LRT stations before my station). Haven't heard from her since the holidays started, so kinda missed her :P. Anyway seems that she is enjoying there :). Good for u gal ^^.

Sigh holidays flies freaking fast. One more week :(. Anyway take care all ^_^

Yesterday was a good day :D. I went out with Kelly to Sunway Pyramid (she said i've slimmed down! XD). Nothing much we just caught a movie (Samara aka Ring Two. This movie isnt worth it >.<, but Kelly was screaming most of time nevertheless >=D) before going round and round Pyramid, cause i need to look for a present for my two pet sis (long overdued presents >.<). Anyway end up never buy anything, but ate at Kim Gary (again! >.<). I ordered baked cheese rice (again x2! >.<'). Kelly brought her cam, so we snapped like mad in Kim Gary, snapping the food, and ourselves :P. Hopefully i can put the pics up when i get from her... (which reminds me im still in a backlog regarding pics.... :P).

I went to Low Yat Plaza today. Kinda miss the place, having worked here for a few months before i started uni. Met some familiar faces there. Hanged out at Edifier while waiting for Vincentl and Sledgehammer to arrive for lunch. After that, we ate at some funny chinesey restaurant down at Ground floor. I ordered baked cheese rice.... (AGAIN x3! >.<'') and we three caught up with, er, whatever that needs catching up :p.

Right after lunch, i went to Sg Wang, with the (HIGH) hopes of finally getting my pet sis' presents. Tough luck. I end up at the arcade, playing arcade racing games :P. After i continued on my quest, and i circled the whole Sg Wang few times over. Right you're asking why i cant make my decision? Actually i know what i need to get (rather, what they told me to get...), which is nail polish and a hat. SO, the problem here is most of the hat is over my set budget........

Bah cut the story short. I end up going back to Low Yat empty handed, and decided to settle stuff there first. I got my couz his graphic card, got myself an earphone, and then chao from there. And............. i went back to Sg Wang.... Heheh this time i found a shop selling hats for like RM10. Best :p. Got the hat, so left the darn nail polish. Easy? I wish.

She wants black, and glitter glow in the dark. WTH does that colour exist anyway? Well if it does it isnt anywhere in Sg Wang. I cant even find black there. Bah. I head to Times Square -.-''. But before that i visited Kelly's mom at her store somewhere in Sg Wang. Woot she says i've slimmed down XD. Now thats 2 person that said i've slimmed down this week (altho same family...). Best XD. Oh yeah Sg Wang got lotsa chiqs. Lotsa lala muis too. And definately lotsa lala chai / gays. Freaky place, but knowing what to expect once i go back Uniten... I told myself not to complain :P.

Yeah so in Times Square.... My legs are aching already (cause they're not made of those super alloy stuff you find in girl's legs) yet i applaud myself for coming this far. 3 shopping malls. Im so proud of myself. This good training for me to achieve super leg status. So anyway... i say this accesories shop, so i decided to go in. So i went in there... knowing i've entered a female domain. I went to the nail polish section, and start looking for that elusive black and glitter light pink (my pet sis changed the colour after i told her i cant find the darn glow in the dark thingymajig). So anyway, the best thing is, while i was standing there, out of the corner of my eye i saw this two gals looked at me, looked back at each other, and then giggle! Pwned by two chicks >.<''. I will be forever traumatised by that. Cant you see that im a fully 100% MAN and that im there just to buy a present for somebody!? Best thing is, that shop dont have it either, so i have to leave that place empty handed. That means i cant explain to them that i am fully 100% MAN!!

Sheesh. I finally found it in the next shop. But the damage is done. But im an optimistic guy. At least my pet sis never got me to buy them some bra so other funnily girly undergarments thingymajigs. Yesh things could be worse. XD

When i went home, i found out that my couz unintentionally screwed my PC. Cut long story short, i went and disturb Elbin, got Win XP cd from him (malaysia version ;D) and spent the whole night formatting the PC. Being optimistic again, now the PC is blazingly fast XD.

And thats about it. Result of this day? My right butt cheek hurts like mad, and i dont know why. Maybe cause i've been carrying all the stuff i've bought on my right hand, thus inadvertly putting extra 300g of weight on the right half of my body. Plausible explanation? I dont care i want to sleeeeeeeppppppp >.<. Bye bye take care!

PS : yes im writing all weird today. its only today k i dont go to low yat + sg wang + times square everyday and get humiliated by girls working in accesories shop and then format pc whole night. no usually i just sleep. today im doing the opposite. bad for health >.<.

FCT Youth Installation

Last night was my church's Youth Installation day. It was held at a member's house, in conjuction with his wife's birthday. Im an ex-comittee, and *hurray -.-* i had to wear formal for the occasion. It was fun, and Pastor organised some Bible related game.... with girls vs guys, and those that cant answer, will have to do something as the request of the opposite gender. We did all sorts of funny stuff. Finally one of us answered correctly, and the agreement is that if we answered correctly... the pastor had to do something at OUR request >=D. Anyway we made him dance some funny cheerleading dance. BEST :P.

After that, went for a session of CS at Silver Surfer, DJ. Played from 11pm until 1am. Madness. Bah what the heck its the holidays damnit :D.

Its been ages since i've been back to my native church, FCT at Taman Mayang. Went there today and i saw some new faces. And oh yeah, coincidentally, i was on Sunday School duty today. Managed the games for the children. Some banana peeling game. They can only peel with their mouths and one hand only. Quite funny to see them at play, but as you know, lots of kids = headache >.<. Anyway not something i cant handle so it was all fun :D.

And it was Jin Yin's birthday today. The gal turned 14 so we decided to celebrate her birthday at Burger King. Not big just lunch, then i head off to my ex-secondary schoo, SMKDJ to visit their carnival. You know what? Out of the 5 years i've been with that school, not once they had a carnival. They had before i was there, and right after i went out!! The unfairness >.<.

Oh yeah, i dyed my mom's hair today. Been a while since i've did that and i was fun XD. Colour her hair black yeah not some weird lala colour :P.

DC++ Hub gathering at Kim Gary, Midvalley

Just now i went for a DC-HUB dinner gathering at Kim Gary, Midvalley. Among the ones attended were bgeh, eng98, bongkerz, duck, NSX_MY, spermaboy and prodigy. Not much except talking. Oh yeah bgeh was pretty late >.< made us all wait an extra 45 minutes before we started ordering. I ate baked cheese steak rice or summat like that. Wasn't bad XD~~~.

After that, i tagged along with eng98 to meet with a few ex-colleagues from last year's Edifier. Eng98 did lots of story-telling and we chatted all the way will past 12am.

These days, whenever i say 'Hello'~~ i sound a tad bit more manly. Why? Because i got sorethroat. Seems that with a wad full of phlegm down your throat, you'll sound a notch man-lier than usual. Bestttt! XD

But its getting irritating, having need to go to the toilet every minute or so to eject the darn phelgm. Get well fast damnit! >.<

Btw anyone here knows where to get pepper spray, not to expensive ones? Need to get one for my mom and friend just for safety's sake. Not those novelty ones, but those for proper use. Appreciate any feedbacks on this :).

Holiday is starting to get bored. Gotta start going out liao. Yesterday nite i had a round of CS with my cousin and Jay over at Silver Surfer, DJ (a few rows from Netmaster which was raided recently). Did a 3 hour CS-fest and then got tired of it -.-''. Apart from that, my day has been pretty, non-eventful. I need spices in life >.<.

Sick and Fishing

Crap i fell sick yesterday :(. It was all Qing Ming's fault. No not some fella named Qing Ming its last Sunday where i went back for Qing Ming and stand under the blardy hot sun for long cleaning dead people's grave. Poor me.

But im better today. Mom made for me some funny drink out of some funny leaves taken from the back of my funny house. Wonder who planted it. It tasted bitter, but it works :p.

Today i went fishing with Mark from uni. Went to Kelana Laguna, a privately owned fishing pond near my place (in Kelana Jaya of course). They charge RM8 per rod entry, and RM3 for chicken feed mixed with flour used as bait. Its been a long long time since i've fished this place, about 1 or 2 years. But i managed to land 7 fish, pacus mostly (some kind of fish from the Piranha family), but they weren't that big. About 1kg average, compared to last time's 2kg or 3kg. Wonder what happened to the fishies here. But it was fun :). Gotta do it some time again.

Qing Ming

Its the time of the year again, when we visit places with dead people and clean them up ^^. Had to rise early in the morning for the trip down to Tampin. Visited both my late granddad and grandma. Nothing eventful, just cleaning the graves and stand under hot sun. Not many chiqs around unfortunately :p but there was one not bad wan kua at the next grave. Look look only k :p.

Oh yeah, i get to drive the journey back from Tampin! Took over from my reluctant dad that is sleepy. My hopes of cruising down the fast lane at 150kph did not materialise, instead i was greeted by a HUGE x100 rain. Cilaka forced to drive in the middle lane by dad, and tops i get to drive s 80kph. Not only that, the massive jam at the Serembam bottleneck worsened the problem. Stuck there for an hour. The rain worsened too, and i barely able to see the car infront, much more the road.

Lol that was the highlight for the day. So conclusion? Boring day -.-''.

Im Back in PJ!

Yeap after a hell of a week, im done with my exams. The final paper, Physics was quite a killer. What made it worse was the darn stomachache i had while having the paper. Curses >.<.

But thats done, so no looking back. The same day (Friday), i went to KLCC with Tai Leong, Mark and Kenny. Watched 'Be Cool', starring John Travolta, plus a slurry of big names as guest actors. Aerosmith, Lakers, Limp Bizkit, The Rock, some fella from Outkast, Danny DeVito, etc. A real good show, a change from all the fast paced action movies you see this days. Highly recommended. Next show i'll watch is Hitch, and maybe Sepet :).

Then i joined Tai Leong in his hunt for a present for his gf's birthday. Since she is a friend too, i got her something too. I took 5 minutes to decide, he took 3 hours :P. The difference in choosing presents for a normal friend, and for a girlfriend. Haha i dread the time when i'll have a gf and have to choose a present for her -.-''. Though i think it'll be well worth it in the end... ;).

Today, Saturday, was the last day in uni for me. We ended the previous night with a Warcraft III : DOTA session. 2 on 2 match for 4 hours until 5.30am today, and end up no final winner cause the game got so saturated it lagged our pcs. Crap.

I packed up, and went back with Jay, but just to get my dad's car. Drove back, and then started transfering all my stuff from the 4th floor down to the car. All this by stairs (because there isnt any elevators in my hostel). It took me a total of 16 trips down and up the 4 flights of stairs before i was finally done >.<.

Then i went to meet Janice up, to pass her back her book. Wanted to go to her room for a while but the darn guard stopped me and said that guys can only wait at the carpack. Curses x2 >.<. She'll be going back to Sarawak with her couz, Josephine and Agfa at 7pm.

So here i am, back at home, everything unpacked, with the PC up and running. Yeap its nice to be home. No doubt im gonna miss uni and my pals tho, but i plan to have fun this holidays. The only limis is money, but unfortunately its a very small limit :(.

Sorry for the lack of words these few days. Exam finally started yesterday, with two major papers : Calculus and Chemistry.

Calculus wasn't that bad after all, but maybe because of the late night library outings for the past week :P. But im afraid i cant say the same for chemistry :(. End up worse than Calculus, and that rarely happens...

But nevertheless, two major paper are over. I just finished my computer skills paper few minutes ago. Did it in about 45 minutes out of the allocated 2 hours XD. Wasn't that bad, as quite a number of people came out then too.

3 down, Physics to go. This friday, and i havent started my revision. Best XD.

Apartment Woes

Man today was stressful. Recently, i missed my timeslot to select an option to whether i want to continue my stay in the university's hostel, or not. I forgotten to do that -.-''. So i was presumed that i wont want to continue staying in the hostel in the coming 1st semester of academic year 2005. Which of course isnt true! I want!

And.... today is the hostel room selection date. I found out in the afternoon that almost everyroom was taken. And i couldnt take one. Cause i didnt select that i wanted....

MEANING : Im screwed.

Where should i live?? I cant live off-campus i dont have a car! Argh curses!!

But thank God i took the effort to get to the residential office, and bugger the fella in charge. In the end i got to pick a room, and got my other friends in it as well (Gan : we're all in the same room again! yi jun changed to tai leong's room). Best! Thank Godness.

I felt so happy that i had to award myself, with my overdue lunch XD~~~. Ahhh roti canai never tasted so gooooood.

Now im back in the library. With this problem off my mind i'd be able to study better. Best! XD

New Age Music : Kitaro

Recently i've gotten myself Kitaro : An Enchanted Evening DVD after it caught my eye while i was shopping in Mines. It was a live performance by Kitaro in America. Why i purchased it? Because i was curious on how he performed, because Kitaro songs are pure instrumentals, and plenty of it.

It wasn't bad, and a found a liking for a few songs. Old favourite Matsuri was the best :p. The band consisted of about 5 plus people, each with their own instruments. Kitaro himself (is Kitaro actually a person or a band? 0.o) played many instruments, including the electric guitar, alot of keyboards, huge oriental drums, etc. Its quite refreshing, watching them play, altho Kitaro's facial expressions were a little 'funny' to say the least. I guess he really feels his songs, because his face shows of sheer pleasure most of the time XD.

Good stuff, but for those who have the taste. Recommended :).

Don't play CS well into the night, and blaring your speakers at the same time...

Or you'll get owned. Im serious. Thats what happened to my roomates and I yesterday.

Ok as usual, a few kakis came over last night to play late night Counterstrike : Condition Zero. As usual meaning our regular 2-3 times a week thing. Yeah we played like mad until about 2-3am, when suddenly there was this funny odour. Smells something between a collogne or something burning. We didn't really care, cause we're quite engrossed in playing CS (map : fy_iceworld2k), tapauing each other and shouting back and forth between two rooms.

Finally my roommate go check the smell. Guess what. Some jokernathan (no offence so nathan's around :P) go pour this putrid liquid on my apartment door. It seems to be some weird concoction of egg (from what i can see) and dishwashing liquid. And it stinks. Actually its quite lemony. A little would be nice but i think that's besides the point :p. Bah they wouldnt want it to smell good anyway.

Back to the topic. The door on the outside was covered in the goop, while some of it seeped inside the apartment through the holes below. Curses >..<.

Haha it turned out to be quite fun in the end, but we made sure to lower down our speakers and voices. Stress can do funny things to some people around here, especially on an exam weekened :p. I finally got my sleep at 4am.

I'm in the library right now, taking a rest from studying. Been here since 4pm, and its 6pm now. Plan to stay until after midnight if i can tahan XD.

Yeah its study fever time. Finals are in 1 and half week times. Very near -.-'' and everyone at full speed studying, including me (well actually, just bursts of full speed XD). Last Wednesday i was here studying from 8pm until 2am. Well not really studying, most of the time was spent on completing Tom Clancy's Acts Of War. A good read, and im starting to fancy Tom Clancy's books too. Will try Robin Cook next XD. Fav is still Robert Ludlum. I want to find for the Bourne series (Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, and Bourne Ultimatum.

Anyway back to topic, everyone is getting streesed up and that includes me >.<. Bah i just have to endure this and next weekend, then its 3 week holidays for me. Hurrah XD.

Multi Level Marketing (MLM)

This particular topic has been hot lately in my uni. Lots of people recruiting and getting recruited. The company is called Uptrend. Relatively new, and of course, at this stage, they promise alot of potential, to be at the top, to earn loads and loads. They plant dreams in you, and let those dreams take you to the top.

Some relatively general background in MLM's (stem from my views and thoughts): MLM works like a pyramid. One person recruits you, you pay to enter, then you recruit someone else, and earn from that. The cycle goes on, and it spreads like wildfire, hence the name 'pyramid'. Its a little misleading, calling it 'pyramid'. I'd call it 'pyramids within pyramid'. A few example : Cosway, Amway, Uptrend, Omega Trend, EmpireICT, etc..

The expansion of a multi level marketing network is limitless. As long as you can find people to join of course. Which means that it gets harder as the network matures. The more people join, the less overall people (realisticly) can join in the future. This is because a community, be it in a company, an institution, a district, a state, a country, or even the world, has limited people. But this is totally opposite of the workings of the pyramid scheme. For it to continue running, the more people recruit, the less people there will be to recruit in the future. Competition and effort has to be increased for each level down the pyramid.

Now the paragraph above sumarize what i can say about MLM. The top members puts in the least effort, and gains the most money. At it progresses downwards, the bottom members has to put in more effort, but earns less. So to offset that, they sell products. Various companies sell various prodcuts. Some are just your normal everyday household item, and some offer more 'miraculous' claims. These products are usually priced extorbitantly, with the Lamp Berge taken as example. No matter what any MLM company might try to to do put a 'legimate' front (by selling products, etc), the backbone and main basis of the whole company is network marketing. I highly doubt anyone makes profits from selling household items (with the exception for those highly priced 'miracle' items).

To me, MLM a scheme built on greed. Greed for money. Majority joins because of greed. The seminars, speeches, motivational talks, they are all there to nurture the greed within the members. Citing dreams, and success stories as catalyst to increase the greed, thus effectively changing the member into their 'slave'. Slave to recruit more members, and to earn money for the top.

The biggest gripe i have with MLM is that it changes people. Greed changes people. Not all, but the majority. Money is a great motivation, and most of the time, it motivates for the bad. Friends becoming artificial, spending more time doing MLM things, talk and act differently, all this are the sacrifices i meant. Not to mention the many who will eventually fail when then can't find anyone to join anymore.

Anyone of you had experience with these kinda of things before? I'd like to hear your views :). I've never joined one before, but the only one MLM company i'd join is the one i start. But the thought of what it does is a deterent.

PS : Im not condemning anyone that joined MLMs. Im condemning the whole network, and the scheme. We are all but humans, and money makes the world go round. Its nothing unusual to sucummb to it. I too myself am victim(thus the advertisment above :P). I voice my this opinion because it has been in me for a long long time. I have many friends that approached me before to join their respective MLMs.

Actually his birthday was last Tuesday, but he had a BBQ celebration last Saturday night. And i was invited! XD. We're supposed to meet up for a convoy to Azfar's place (where the BBQ was held) at Project, Sri Hartamas. Oh yeah i managed to take my dad's car, the Mitsuu Galant 2.0 V6 for a ride and it was BEST XD. Reached there by 8.30pm, the agreed upon time. After much groaning and complaning, Azfar finally arrived at 9pm, and brought us to his place not far away.

Azzam was already there, with all the food ready (finally! said Cheng -.-''). Abit of wishing, some paid the RM10 (Azzam say no need presents, just pay for your own food XD), introductions(Faisal's sisters were the few girls there >.< but they're pretty so its ok XD), and bang straigt to the food. It wasn't bad at all, with lots of things to eat (lots in quantity, not variety :P). We got potato salad (made by Azfar), fried rice, BBQ lamb and chicken, and chocolate cheese cake (made by Azzam and Faisal's sis) which was delicious. Yeah Azzam made his own bday cake -.-''. Anyway they stuck those self-reigniting-birthday-candles on his cake and he took a behemoth of a effort to put them out, splattering lots of saliva in all direction in the process. Abit the yucky there but the cake was indeed delicious so we forgotten about that.

Oh yeah, the cake was so delicious that when i ate it, i never realised my plastic plate caught fire from the candle. When i realised it, i tried to blow it out but failed because my mouth was stuffed with cake -.-''. Thanks to a friend he got that out for me, and i continued my cake eating XD.

Azzam got bathed with a pail of water, and then followed by pelting of eggs, mango and orange juice, and best of all, BBQ sauce. Poor fella. He enjoyed it tho. I think :P.

The party ended around 12am, when most of the guys already went off. I stayed back and helped cleared off. It was done by 2am, and the remaining us (Azzam, Faisal, his two sisters, Tiny, Ken Wai, Azfar and me) went to Hartamas square for a short yum cha session. Suprisingly (or not? 0.o) i met Jee May there. She and Chin happened to sit next to the table we took. Too bad no chance to talk :(. We watched football, and i tried some funny sucking thingy called shisha or something like that which is some funny apparatus with charcoal on top, water inside, and some fruity smelling/tasting thingy in between and you suck it like you're smoking something but when i tried all i tasted was bitter charcoal. Yeah they told me it doesnt taste anything but i tasted charcoal soooo....? XD.

By the time i left the place, it was already 3am. Tired but it was something different (well not really cause i sleep late all the time, but most of those time i'm in uni so... different in a way XD) for a change.

That means im back :). And it feels great to be back! The food! The air con! The cold water! The internet! I felt replenished. I came down by hitching Wen Zhen's car. Well actually i got to drive her car :P.

Anyway, wasn't much i did back here except i went giving fliers for my mom again in Yuk Chai yesterday, and today i slept until 12pm, before continuing again at 2pm, until 6pm. That totals 14 hours of sleep! XD. Darn i was supposed to study Calculus (as i promised myself before i came back) but somehow being at home doesn't put you in the mood to study. Too bad :P. Plus my aunt and cousin came down today. More reason not to study -.-''.

Oh yeah, did i mentioned? I had Physics Test II and Chemistry quiz yesterday. It wasn't all that bad, hopefully. Managed to do all without much problems, so thank God for that. Received my 2nd Calculus quiz results back, and no suprise i got 5.5/10 only. Its funny. I love Physics, and everything i learn about it sinks in easily. Not Calculus tho. Its too abstract. People say that if you love Physics, you love Calculus. I say bullshit.

Btw, i want a new headphone. This is bad. True that whatever is plaguing me recently is finally gone, and i am back to normal. But this 'wanting' to spend money is bad. I need to kick this. Or i need to win the lottery. Which ever comes first :P.

Quizzes and Exam

I just had my calculus quiz just now, and it was freaking hard! Well not really, but hard for me though. My calculus is still as bad as ever :(. Sigh i wonder when i'll get the hang of it. And to add salt unto the wound, i'll be having chemistry quiz and Physics test tomorrow. Hurray -.-''.

Life's pretty back to normal. Maybe cause it was the exams and all the pressure. My calculus teacher just warned us today about the consequences of failing calculus : we'll have to retake calculus 2 next semester, thus meaning we can only take calculus 3, which we're supposed to take next semester, the semester after that. Which means that we'll start degree year one semester later :(. To sum it up, if we fail, things turns ugly. And gay. I cant fail :(.

Edifier is gonna be at the next PC Fair again, held on the 25th-27th this month. And my finals will start on the 28th. This is saddening. I've worked in the pass 4 PC Fair without fail, and now my running streak will be broken :(. Not to mention i need moolah to replenish my sad wallet (thanks to the Ipod! >.<)

Hello everyone!

Yet another week ended. I stayed back in hostel for the last weekend. Suprisingly i got some work done this time. Went to the library on Friday and stayed there from 11am to 5pm. Done 4 chapters of Calculus notes, which is a self record breaker XD. Im proud of mysel :P.

Yesterday, i went to Mines to get a hair cut (finally!). I got a not that bad hair cut for RM12. Then i got myself a DVD : Flight of the Pheonix. Watched it at home, and i wasn't that bad, but wasn't anything spectacular either. I'd rate it between Constatine and Elektra, with Constatine being the top (Elektra just plain sux >.<).

I'll be having a Physics Test this Thrusday. And i haven't started studying for it. Bah stress is mounting, but im feeling better because of it (funny isn't it). Maybe cause it takes my mind of other nonsensical thoughts. But im not saying im looking forward to it either :P.

I've lost my drive again... This is getting pretty bad. Something is causing this horrible moodswings. So many things is contributing to the mess i have in my head, and i cant place everything anywhere :(. Music and study is one of my retreats, but the moment i leave it, my brain gets messed up with troubles again.

But i hate to rant :P. Except if its other people's problems. So uh... what should i talk huh? I dont know what to write whenever my mind is clouded.. sigh...

Oh yeah! When i came back to uni, i forgotten to bring toilet rolls. And all 3 roommates forgotten to bring too. And i have only 3 tissue packets with me. And that was during Sunday night. Now i got two left. Im going to get screwed. I hate to clean with water. Die...

Ok that was a lame attempt. But its true!

Btw, im getting fatter. I need to slim down. More basketball for me, hopefully... XD

Oh yeah! Yesterday i went to South City Plaza with the two leng luis, Kelly and Janice. Supposed to go there eat dinner, and then come back by night to study in library. But you know girls la.. shopping sure forget time... esp if there are cheap stuffs... :p. End up staying there until 9pm. 3 hours there, and all i got was a lousy pen refill >.<.

Hmmm... suddenly things started getting clearer :P. Blogging is good for health XD. Take care all k ^_^

Back in uni

Here i am, back in uni. Hectic life started again, but im definately refrehsed during the weekend. Nothing like giving out fliers, a round of CS with old pals, yum cha with NBTD members and church to refresh you :). Now i can face the week a new person.

And i'll need it. Cause its gonna be a long week. Quizzes and exams coming up. I'm gonna be thoroughly screwed by my Calculus, if Chemistry and Physics don't get me first. Have to buckup.

On another note, i'm getting hooked to LOTR Soundtracks. Watching the movies as well as playing the game repetitively is the cause. They have some real good scores. Besides that, i'll be sampling Final Fantasy piano collections, as well as other BGMs (back ground musics) from various of other animes and games on my Ipod Shuffle. No more boring lectures for me :P.

Yay i am now a proud owner of brand new Ipod Shuffle!

Sexy isn't it? Its small too. And light.

And its friggin expensive :(. Took a chunk of my extra loan money. But i need it to get through those boring lecture periods. And the free periods in between lectures. Still... its friggin expensive >.<.

Btw did i mention before? My left ear has issues with earphones. They just wont stay put. Only my right does. So i have to keep re-adjusting the left earphone. Every 3 minutes or so? -.-''. So now i need those clippon earphones. Bah more to spend.

Anyway i got this Ipod today at Low Yat Plaza. From Digital Stuff. Met up with Lain/Yoh/Pin2 after that and went to Times Square cause she needs to change some funny i-cant-remember-the-name kind of shirt. End up she cant change because of some BS reason. Poor her.

Oh yeah. Before i went to LYP, i went to Bintang Warisan hotel to pick up something. While finding the place, i turn a wrong turn, and end up in that sleazy red light district street at Bukit Bintang. Most of the place were closed, except for one. The pimp (i assume) was calling out for me, but i cant catch his words. Dont care just walk. Oh yeah i saw a RM5 note on that street, but never picked it up. Hooker money -.-''.

Woot, so finally my monotonous life has been broken :).

Yeah im going back home today, after 2 weeks here. Looking really forward to it actually. Need to reset myself back home :P. A change of things and pace will freshen me up.

Lately i have the sudden urge of buy expensive stuff again. And im on the verge of purchasing an Ipod Shuffle. RM499. This is bad for my wallet. Not to mention my wallet is already in such a bad condition. Purchasing this means i have to take from my 'extra' PTPTN loan. Any one wants to donate me? RM1 per person is enough XD.

Lately i've been finding myself in a very blur and moody state. Adding to that, i've reached this blogger's block or summat. Whatever i've been doing, i cant put it into words. Even my diary received its fair share of neglect. Poor diary. Sigh~.

I try to be back up and jumping real soon k? :). Btw, Constatine was great, Elektra wasn't. Looking forward to Flight of the Pheonix. And currently reading Robert Ludlum's The Cassandra Compact. 2nd book of the Covert One series, which is a nice series for those military fans :).
